NORTH Yorkshire libraries are looking for young people to get involved in helping to run this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.
Every year during the school summer holidays children take part in this national scheme, which this year takes the theme Animal Agents.
Volunteers will register children onto the challenge, help them to choose books, talk to them about the books they have read and help to host library events. To apply to be a volunteer go to www.vinspired.com, visit your local library, or email libraries@northyorks.gov.uk. The deadline is July 15.
