HARROGATE MP Andrew Jones has been promoted in Theresa May’s post-election reshuffle.
Mr Jones, who was re-elected with an increased majority on June 8, has been appointed Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, a move from his role as a junior transport minister.
The reshuffle has also seen Selby and Ainsty MP Nigel Adams appointed assistant whip, while Lancashire MP Jake Berry has become Northern Powerhouse minister.
