NORTH York Moors National Park has been crowned the UK’s favourite national park.
It has beaten off stiff competition from 14 other national parks to be named the UK’s most loved in an online competition organised by holiday rentals site HolidayLettings.co.uk.
With 28 per cent of the votes, North York Moors National Park was declared the winner, followed by Cairngorms National Park, in Scotland, which finished in second place with 27 per cent of the votes and Broads National Park, in Norfolk and Suffolk, in third place with 23 per cent of the total votes.
