A YORK hospice will be holding a charity sale this week.
St Leonard’s Hospice charity shop in Tang Hall is putting on the sale at St Crux Parish Hall on Friday to raise money for the hospice.
Stalls will feature donated second hand goods such as books, CDs, DVDs, handbags, jewellery, toys and bric-a-brac, as well as some brand new items.
Staff, volunteers and customers from the shop, on Fourth Avenue in York, will be running the stalls as well as providing refreshments including hot drinks, home baking and sandwiches.
Sun Bonarious, Tang Hall shop manager, said: “Come along and support the hospice and grab some bargains while you’re there. It’s a great venue, especially on a nice day when people can sit outside. Fingers crossed for some sunshine, and we look forward to seeing lots of people there.”
Doors open from 9.30am to 4pm.
