Firefighters free woman trapped in crashed vehicle
FIREFIGHTERS have freed a woman who was trapped in a vehicle after a crash in North Yorkshire this evening.
It happened in Burniston Road, Scarborough, and involved two vehicles, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Emergency services were called to the collision at about 6.20pm.
A spokeswoman for the fire service confirmed that the woman who was trapped has been taken to hospital by road ambulance.
