FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a cooker fire in a village in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to a house in Doncaster Road, Brayton, near Selby, at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “The cooker was totally destroyed by fire.”
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire.
