ST Leonard’s Hospice has launched a campaign asking people to sponsor one of its nurses.
From this week, people can sponsor a nurse by signing up for regular giving online or making a one-off donation.
This will support the hospice nurses in providing free, vital care both at the hospice and in patients’ homes.
Sarah Tarpey, fundraising manager, said “Our nurses care for the whole person, not just their illness. They help as soon as a life-limiting illness is diagnosed, supporting patients and their families at every stage. By giving as little as £5 per month, you can support them in making a real difference to local people.”
If you want to get involved in the ‘Sponsor a Nurse’ campaign, visit the Regular Giving page on the Hospice website. You can also make a one-off donation on the website, by cheque made payable to St Leonard’s Hospice, or by calling the Fundraising Team on 01904 777 777.
