Road works
ROADWORKS on the A19 Shipton Road have been extended for another two weeks.
The repairs were due to end by Monday, but City of York Council has now confirmed the work will take until Friday, May 19 to give time for more work before resurfacing on May 23. To minimise disruption work will take place from 9.15am – 3.45pm. Stop and go traffic management will be used, and some bus stops will be suspended. Residents must tell the site traffic management staff if they wish to park or drive to homes.
