A BRAIN tumour charity is urging people to get on their bikes for a fundraising cycle ride.
Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire (BTRS) is gearing up to hold its annual Big Bike Ride on May 20.
The event will follow a circular route from Wetherby Rugby Club with two distance options - 35 and 64 miles. Standard entry is £20, and gold entry is £30, which includes a finishers medal and lunch ticket.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Whether you are an enthusiast wanting to take on a cycling challenge or an elite looking to gain a personal best, this ride caters for all cycling abilities and promises to be a great day out, helping to raise vital funds for this important cause.
“If you don’t want to take part in the ride but would like to volunteer, BTRS are looking for marshals for the day and would love to hear from you.”
To find out more about the ride, visit www.btrs.org.uk/bbr or phone the fundraising team on 0113 340 0111.
