YORK Inset Scooter Club are proud to announce their tenth annual Mods and Rockers Charity Run.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 23 at the Eye of York, adjacent to Clifford’s Tower.
The run will be started at 10.30am by the Lord Mayor of York and the Civic Party and will leave York and ride to the Rose and Crown public house, Beadlam.
York Inset Scooter Club’s president Ken Smith and honorary members the York Normandy Veterans will be in attendance in full regalia.
The run will raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and it is envisaged that over 200 scooterists and bikers, many riding vintage machines, will take part.
A highlight of the event will be the guest appearance of St George and his dragon.
I do hope that you can join us for what will be a spectacular event.
Nick Beilby, for York Inset Scooter Club
