FIRE crews were called to a blaze in a North Yorkshire field last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the field in York Road, Naburn, at just before 9pm.
A spokesman said the fire involved about 20 tyres over an area of about 25 square metres.
A crew from York used foam to put out the fire, which the spokesman said was believed to have been caused deliberately.
