EMERGENCY services were called to a flat in York over concerns for the safety of a woman.
Two North Yorkshire Police vehicles and an ambulance crew were called to student flats off Walmgate on Wednesday evening, and were at the location for about two hours.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report of concern for the safety of a woman in a flat on Percy’s Lane, York, at 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 12.
“Officers attended and spoke to the woman, and she was taken to be assessed by health care professionals.”
The North Yorkshire Police spokesman could not confirm the woman’s condition.
