TWO men were arrested after a disturbance in Selby, not one as police initially said.
North Yorkshire Police was called at about 9pm on Friday to reports of a disturbance in Flaxley Road.
A spokesperson for the force initially claimed one man, aged 43, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, but the force has since said that a 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of affray.
The spokesperson said: “Both have been released on bail as enquiries continue.”
A National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter was also called to the scene.
