YORK Central MP Rachael Maskell is hosting a Mother’s Day Coffee Morning this Saturday, March 25.
The event is at the Priory Street Centre from 10am to 12pm, and the MP wants to hear how York can be a more family friendly city - in relation to workplace rights, maternity and paternity rights, childcare, support for parents, housing for families, benefits, schools, health and wellbeing. The session is informal and family-friendly, and is open for parents, carers and families.
Ms Maskell said: “I want to hear from families what improvements they want to see in the city to have a great family day out.”
There will be refreshments and activities for children.
