LOOK North presenter Harry Gration and the TV programme’s weatherman Paul Hudson are to take part in an evening of ‘fun banter’ at St Edward the Confessor Church in Dringhouses, York.
Organiser Sue Baldock said the event at 7.30pm on Wednesday March 29 will raise money for the charity Accomplish Children’s Trust, of which Harry is patron.
Sue said tickets for An Evening with Harry Gration and Paul Hudson, costing £12, could be bought from the parish office between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, by phoning 01904 709111 or emailing parishoffice@care4free.net.
The charity supports children with disabilities and their families in Africa.
Its key three objectives are education for children with disabilities. medical relief and treatment for disabilities affecting children and young adults under 25; and a Christian response and social outreach to children with disabilities and their families. Most of its work is in Uganda, but it aims to reach children with disabilities across Africa in the longer term.
