Resurfacing work starts next week
ESSENTIAL resurfacing work on University Road will go ahead on Monday.
The City of York Council work is expected to take five days to complete, weather permitting, from 9.15am to 3.30pm.
A temporary road closure near the junction with Field Lane and Main Street will be in place.
Residents will have no access for vehicles during working hours except in emergencies. A clearly signed diversion route will be set out for traffic.
Access will only be allowed if it is safe to do so.
