Man suffers facial injuries in street attack
A MAN suffered facial injuries after he was attacked in the street by a gang of men this morning.
North Yorkshire Police said the man was walking towards Bondgate, Selby, between 1.15am and 2am today, when he was assaulted by three men.
A spokesman said the victim had left the Golden Skewer takeaway in Micklegate, and headed up Millgate towards his home when he was attacked.
The victim was taken to York Hospital for treatment to facial injuries, and North Yorkshire Police have urged anyone with information or who saw the attack to contact them on 101.
