Flood action groups & experts called to conference
YORK, East and North Yorkshire flood action groups and professionals involved in flood defence are being urged to attend the second national Flood and Coast conference and exhibition at Telford International Centre, Shropshire on March 28 to March 30.
The Environment Agency says it will be attended by 1,500 professionals and will the biggest gathering in the UK for experts in flood defence and coastal erosion.
The first conference was held in February 2016 following last winter’s devastating floods.
