A PERSONAL trainer from North Yorkshire has launched a new business aimed at helping people achieve a healthier lifestyle.

Mat Nelson, from Selby, has spent 18 months putting together his 90-day plan based on getting the balance right between healthy eating and exercise.

During his career Mr Nelson has worked with individuals, groups and military personnel to helping them achieve their weight loss, toning and muscle-building goals.

A common theme was the need to lead a healthier lifestyle concentrating on food as well as the gym.

This has led him to develop the “New You for Life” health plan, with the focus on food and nutrition.

He has looked at all food items, researching the effects of alcohol, fats, sugars, proteins, portion control and more, which fit around a person and their lifestyle.

“It isn’t a diet, it is a lifestyle change,” he said.
