New exhibition opens at York cafe
PRINTMAKERS are showcasing their artistic skills during an exhibition at a York cafe.
The York Printmakers group are holding their latest exhibition - ‘Print Etcetera’ - at Osbornes at 68, in Gillygate.
It features work by seven members of the group, showing a variety of printmaking techniques which include lino cut, etching and collagraph, as well as mixed media paintings.
The seven artists are Chrissie Dell, Michelle Hughes, Katherine Rathmell, Derek Gauld, Emma Whitelock, Jade Blood and Alanah Watson.
Meeting on a monthly basis, members of York Printmakers share work and ideas in an informal way.
The group, which was established last year, has more than 30 members.
