HUNDREDS of people were in soapy bubble in York on Sunday, as one of the city's messiest fundraising events was held.
St Leonard's Hospice's Bubble Rush on Knavesmire saw participants running, walking or scrambling through a course that was several feet deep in bubbles.
Canons blasted 30 cubic metres of frothy bubbles a minute, raising money for the work of the hospice.
