AN EXTRA bus service has been added to a bus route in York following public demand.
From Sunday, the First York 6 service from Clifton Moor will receive an extra bus, the company has confirmed.
Additional buses will also be offered during the morning rush hours between Monday and Friday.
Marc Bichtemann, managing director of First York, said: “We are committed to providing safe, punctual and reliable bus travel for the people of York, so it’s important that we ensure our more popular services have additional resources, to assist with the increase in passenger numbers.
"We always welcome feedback from our customers, and we’d be happy to hear from more people who have suggestions for how we can continue to offer comfortable travel around York.”
