A POLICE Community Support Officer has been assaulted during an attempt to arrest someone in Clifton.
York North Safer Neighbourhood Team said the officer suffered minor injuries and was abused as a juvenile was detained.
They tweeted: "This highlights the challenges our PCSO's face when patrolling with nothing more than a pocket book. Ordinary people doing an extraordinary job."
Great work by Pcso's on the team just now detaining a wanted juvenile in #Clifton👍🏻 but sadly not before one of the Pcso's was assaulted.
