WHY the “up to two years” delay before we are finally clear of the ball and chain EU?

When Britain originally signed up for the Common Market (which then morphed into the EU) it seemed to be an instant transaction.

So why the prolonged wait before we are free of the EU colossus?

After all when we change jobs, and have served our notice, we don’t have to wait another couple of years before we are free.

Luckily, in Theresa May, we have a PM who wants to get Britain away from the EU as soon as possible and has instructed the ministers involved in the transaction to make sure this happens.

The Common Market was a brilliant scheme but the EU has now too many member countries for it to succeed.

The sooner Britain is out of it the better.

Indeed the EU can be directly compared to the old adage “about as much use as a back pocket in a vest”.

Contrary to the doom and gloom forecasts from various experts it appears the rest of the world are only too keen to do business with Britain.

Brexit has been one of the best things Britain has done as our exit will, in all probability, cause the eventual collapse of this useless edifice.
