A POPULAR York supermarket has opened in new premises - just yards from its old ones.

Oriental Express in Matmer House, in Hull Road, has moved units.

Owner Jane Ye said the new premises were better suited to the business but said the business was continuing as before and with the same range of goods.

Planning permission was recently granted for the shop's previous unit, on the same row of shops, to become a pizza takeaway business.
