IF a person ceased membership of a club, would they be expected to fall out with those who remain a member or have all links and association severed? Of course not.

So why all the doom and gloom about the EU referendum result? It’s not as if it’s the first time that countries have gained independence from other countries or bodies.

There seems no good reason why trading and relations should not continue as before with the difference being that the United Kingdom sets its own rules and conditions.

No reason why people who live here legally from overseas can’t stay, but every reason why we can deport those who break our laws, have no right to be here and who stir up hatred.

There should be a clause in the visa of all incomers stating if they do not adhere to the laws of our land, they will be deported without appeal, and I don’t mean minor infringements.

It was disappointing to note that what should have been an anonymous vote has been analysed into age groups and voting areas. That information should have been irrelevant.

There has been a great deal of hand-wringing, gnashing of teeth, tearing of hair and other bodily contortions over the result to leave. That is the majority vote.

Nothing was mentioned about there having to be a certain percentage majority. Would this outcry have occurred had the result gone the other way? Doubt it.
