TWO women have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash.
The incident, involving an Audi A6 and a Ford Ka, happened on the A61 near Burn Bridge close to Harrogate shortly after 8pm yesterday.
One woman was trapped in her vehicle. She was released by firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment and taken to hospital with chest injuries.
Another woman, although not trapped in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries.
Two fire crews from Harrogate attended the scene.
