Beer and food event in York on Saturday
YORK'S newest brewery hosts a beer and food event on Saturday.
Brew York, in the Enterprise Complex off Walmgate, is hosting the event from 1pm.
The Biltmore's former head chef Mark Hill, aka Street Cleaver, will demonstrate pairing beer with cheese and preparing vegetarian sushi with imperial porter.
York Cookery School will also do demonstrations, showing how to make desserts with beer and how to make a beer glaze for barbecues.
There will be free samples, street food vendors, and live music from Smith & Wallace, Ramblin' Times, and Taz Barnes & Lisa B.
