FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a cruise liner which came adrift on the River Ouse south of York at lunchtime today.
Crews from Selby used lines and a rescue boat to recover the boat safely into a lock at Barlby, just as it was beginning to pick up pace as it went further down the river.
