THE York Irish Association is to host a group of young musicians from Lissenhall, County Tipperary, as part of their tour of northern England.
The Lissenhall Harp Ensemble, which consists of seven Irish harp players aged from 12-25, many of whom are multi instrumentalists and also play the tin whistle, concertina, highland bagpipes and cello, will perform at the Upstage Theatre in Monkgate on Saturday April 30. The evening will also include some traditional Irish singing and dancing.
