A PRIZE-WINNING team of young people will host a pop-up cafe in York this weekend.
Team Lifestyle Cafe, who won the Safer York Community Award in North Yorkshire Police's Lifestyle Challenge, also won the Lord Mayor's SHINE award earlier this year for their efforts raising money for the local community.
Since last year, they have held a pop-up café to raise funds for the York flood victims and are now busy baking and icing more treats for the event at 128 Knavesmire Crescent on Saturday.
Money raised from this event will go towards St Chad's Greys Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to help them repair the boiler and to fix leaky containers which house their tents and camping equipment.
The pop-up café will be open between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
