A MAN and a woman from York will be sentenced after admitting two assaults in a pub.
Neil Harrison and Nicola Kelly were due to stand trial for the assaults at York Crown Court yesterday (April 27), but changed their pleas to guilty.
Harrison, 44, and Kelly, 39, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) against Mark Neville at the Dick Turpin pub in Woodthorpe, York on August 22 last year.
Kelly also pleaded not guilty to an ABH charge against Sadie Brown at the same pub on that date, but admitted common assault, which the prosecution accepted.
Harrison, of Sandcroft Close and Kelly, 39, of Oldman Court, saw their cases adjourned for pre-sentence reports until May 27.
Recorder Alistair Macdonald QC told them: "I'm not making any promises about what will happen at the sentencing hearing."
