A YORK mobile phone repair shop has been shut down.
iRepair in Spurriergate was locked up by bailiffs and customers must now claim back any property they had inside.
A notice was placed in the shop window on Thursday by bailiffs Walker & Dodds, who are acting for landlords 'The Feoffees of St Michael's Spurriergate.
It says Walker & Dodds "have today re-entered thereon in accordance with our power to do so, contained in a lease agreement and as a consequence of such re-entry, the said lease agreement has been forfeited and the premises have been secured.
"Take further notice that no person may lawfully enter onto these premises unless they have been authorised by us to do so.
"Any attempt by any person to enter these premises without our previous authority may amount to a criminal offence and may result in prosecution."
Customers had seven days to contact solicitors Grays in Duncombe Place, York to claim back any property inside the store.
iRepair had been open for less than a year, during which time it had received several bad reviews on business website yell.com
