A CAR has become stuck in floods on a North Yorkshire road.
Police are warning drivers to stay away from the A684 between Appersett and Hawes after water levels rose above 3ft.
North Yorkshire Police said one car is stuck and the road is impassable.
Meanwhile, the A66 has been closed because of the adverse weather conditions.
