TENNIS courts have been revamped in Market Weighton as part of an all new housing development.
New residential developments above a certain size must provide outdoor playing space or a sum of money to restore existing facilities.
This has resulted in the refurbishment of courts in Holme Road properties built by Barratt and David Wilson Homes.
The development paid a sum, of which £26,000 was allocated to improve the tennis courts by resurfacing and repainting the three all-weather courts, as well as improvements to the club house, including new window frames and a solar electrical lighting system.
