SPECIAL guests from the city's business, hospitality and retail sectors have sampled the delights of York's newest bar.
The Yorkshire Bar and Grill, in St Maurice's Road, opened its doors for the first time during an invitation only event for 70 people.
Guests were able to sample a selection of Yorkshire gins, Yorkshire beers, prosecco, and bite-sized portions from the Yorkshire-themed menu.
Graham Usher, general manager, paid tribute to those who had helped create the new venue, in particular citing his own team, for their support and input.
He said: "This was the perfect way of introducing The Yorkshire bar and grill to a new audience.
"It gave them the opportunity to see for themselves what others have been talking about, and to have their taste buds tempted – and satisfied - by some fabulous Yorkshire flavours."
Dishes on the dinner menu will include Pressed Yorkshire Rabbit, Gin Cured Salmon, Yorkshire Waygu Steak Hache, Tomahawk Pork Chop, Pan Fried East Coast Cod Fillet and Dark Chocolate and Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil Delice.
