A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash near York this morning.
Police were called at around 8.30am to a crash on th A59 between Kirk Hammerton and Poppleton, involving a Mini and a Nissan Micra.
Both drivers were left with minor injuries and were taken to York Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Mini failed a roadside breath test, and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
One lane is still blocked and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
