A YORK street was blocked to traffic this morning after a delivery lorry became wedged under a shop canopy.
The Poundworld delivery vehicle got stuck under the canopy outside Monsoon and Next, before 9am today, and the street was blocked to vehicles for about an hour.
City of York Council were called to assist at the scene, and the lorry was removed by about 9.50am.
A spokesman said there was not thought to be any structural damage to the canopy or the building.
