THE North Yorkshire Building Control Partnership has been awarded the contract to oversee all building works carried out by North Yorkshire County Council.
The awarding of the contract follows a long procurement process, and will last for the next three years.
Les Chapman, head of NYBCP, said: "I am overjoyed that we have been awarded the tender to provide services for North Yorkshire County Council.
"The selection and tender process run by the County Council was rigorous and we are delighted to have secured the contract, which will be monitored continuously by the County to ensure high performance standards are maintained by the Partnership.
"We have a wealth of experience and knowledge across all types of project and construction techniques and encourage innovative solutions."
