A WOMAN has been brought to safety after threatening to jump from the roof of Stonebow House.
St Saviourgate, at the back of Stonebow House in York was blocked off by police, as was the Stonebow entrance.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Police received a call at around 12.30pm today with reports that a woman was on the roof of Stonebow House in York.
“Emergency Services attended and the woman was brought to safety at around 2.20pm.”
Police cordons were taken down at 2.45pm.
Police were seen at the top of the multi-storey car park at Stonebow House during the incident.
