IF it feels today as if summer is already over, don't give up - warmer weather is on the way.
Temperatures had only reached 14C, or 57F, at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, near York, by noon today, with drizzly rain, but weather forecasters say they will reach 18C tomorrow with sunny spells and light winds.
Friday - the first day of a major two-day meeting at York Racecourse - should be even better, with temperatures reaching as high as 24C or 75 F, and periods of sunshine.
It should remain mild over the weekend with some sunshine but also showers.
