AROUND 50 young performers took to the stage on Sunday for "Dance Dance Dance" at York's Joseph Rowntree Theatre.
The students of the Yvonne Hoque school of dance put on the show after six months of rehearsals, with dance styles ranging from tap to ballet to theatre craft to baton twirling and cheerleading.
They also performed an unusual morris dance under UV lights, and a gymnastic-style ribbon dance.
The dancers who performed on Saturday afternoon ranged in age from just three years old to adults.
Teacher Yvonne said: "It was absolutely lovely. We had about 50 children and they all did really well.
"The children and the dancers love being in shows, and rehearsing them is a lot of fun."
Dozens of proud mums and dads packed into the auditorium for the dancing extravaganza.
