THESE pictures show some of the record number of runners who took part in a unique men-only 5km run in York.
Organisers of R U Taking the P are celebrating after the event in aid of prostate cancer research attracted almost 400 runners - 97 more than before - raising tens of thousands of pounds for charity.
Among the runners was one dressed in a mankini, a jockey and fake horse and a team of referees.
More than 105 people signed up for the Rowntree Park run on the day.
Brian Hughes, the race organiser, described the event on Sunday as "absolutely marvellous".
In five years the event has raised £72,500 and Mr Hughes said he was hopeful of making the £100,000 mark this year.
Funds raised go towards groundbreaking prostate cancer research funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research at the University of York.
