JORVIK Deaf Connections is holding its first annual general meeting later this month.
The AGM will be held at at Huntington Sports and Social Club on Huntington Road at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 20.
Everyone is welcome.
Vicky Dixon, vice chairperson of Jorvik Deaf Connections (JDC), said: "We will talk about what we have done over the last year and also talk about future plans. We have achieved a lot and have big plans for the future, not just in terms of being a small social club but also campaigning for better access and Deaf awareness in the local community.
"People should come along so they can have a say on who should run the club and more importantly get information on what's available for them in the community and planned events."

JDC is an all inclusive community for all D/deaf people, family and friends as well as BSL students.
