POLICE searching for a missing 84-year-old have found his body close to where he was last seen.
John Symington's body was found a mile and a half away from the Breezy Knees Nurseries in Warthill, near Stockton on the Forest.
The last known sighting of him was made as he got off a coach next to the nurseries at 3.45pm yesterday.
Mr Symington had travelled to the area from Dundee and the alarm was raised when he did not return to the coach.
A search was started last night and began again at 4.30am this morning.
Police said his death was a "tragic accident" and have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, which has been reported to the coroner.
