BEFORE we voters in recent elections form a coalition of our own and burst into song with a rendition of Judy Garland’s Over The Rainbow, it may well transpire that a Wizard of Oz is required within the chambers of City of York Council.
Being without a rudder to guide important decisions to be made for the welfare and wellbeing of we citizens is tantamountparamount to a neglect of duty.
This state of affairs can only be attributed to a case of sour grapes and/or a version of the Night of the Long Knives scenario within the seat of power.
Power is one thing, misuse of power to meet one’s own ends is another, casualties are the general public. Let common sense prevail before we all end up in debtors’ prison.
