AS WE bid farewell to our departing Lord Mayor, Ian Gillies, may I make mention of his wife, please?
In every photograph I saw of Pat Gillies, I can honestly say that she looked elegant and beautifully dressed. Her many outfits were well chosen, never too loud and perfect for each occasion.
Well done Mrs Gillies - you were a credit to the city and a model of good taste.
