POLICE are hunting the driver of a dark blue estate car which failed to stop after a crash near Ripon.
The crash happened yesterday at about 11am, when the dark blue car overtook two cyclists heading towards Dishforth on the road between Sharow and Dishforth.
A white BMW and red Vauxhall Zafira which were travelling in the opposite direction collided.
The BMW driver, a woman, 45, from Dishforth, was treated at the scene for slight injuries. The Zafira driver, man, 45, from Ingleby Barwick, was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with slight injuries.
The overtaking car did not stop.
