FORMER military vehicles descended on the Eye of York yesterday for a gathering in the shadow of Clifford’s Tower.
Members of the Yorkshire area of the Military Vehicle Trust – a charitable organisation dedicated to the conservation of ex-military vehicles – have run the event for more than a decade.
Trust members look after and restore vehicles including jeeps, tanks, transporters, lorries, Land Rovers and motorbikes, ranging from pre-First World War to the present day.
