CCTV images have been released by police in connection with a theft from a Selby shop.

Gillette razor blades, worth about £100, were stolen from Tesco in Portholme Road, at about 9pm on November 28.

North Yorkshire Police have only just released these images of a white woman, aged between 30 and 40, about 5ft 8ins tall with a slim build and dark hair in a pony-tail. She was wearing a plain burgundy jacket, white knee-high trousers and white trainers.

Special Constable Richard Stagg, of Selby Police, said: “I would ask that anyone who recognises the woman in the CCTV contacts me, as they may have important information that could assist the investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the woman or has been offered the blades for sale should phone police on 101.
